school children I met in Panama

Recently, I had the honor, joy and privilege to travel to Panama to work and directly help school children. You can find a story about it here http://www.army.mil/article/106194

We, helped build simple structures and I was extremely lucky to be allowed to take close to 5,000 images of our time there. The edited images can be found in a gallery with folders in it to ease the viewing on my web site.

Here are some of my favorite images of the school children I met and that were directly helped by the United States.

During our time there I was able to walk the local streets and interact with several families, they were all happy to see us and constantly showered us with cold fresh fruit, smiles, hugs and laughs. The United States provided the supplies for the structures we built and they provided the laptops and the internet for the children to learn.

I love the United States, we make a lot of mistakes, but, we got this right.
