Almost impossible

"It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream." - Bern Williams

Here are some of my favorite sunset images of us from a shoot here at Indian Rocks Beach. We used a tripod and a remote with a timer.

Dreams are so important, never give up on yours.

More than anything

“If you love someone more than anything, then distance only matters to the mind, not to the heart.”

My groom safely returned home from a 319 day deployment to Afghanistan. This was not his first deployment, but it was our first as a married couple.

We were very lucky, technology has improved so much, that we were able to stay in touch with eachother every day.  He was thousands of miles away, but always the first thing on my mind.

We have been celebrating his return for 2 weeks today. Here is part of one of several shoots we did together. We used a tripod and a remote with a timer.

Though I hope neither of us deploy again anytime soon, I feel confident that the distance will only matter to our minds and not our hearts, because I love him more than anything.

Lime in the coconut

"Put the lime in the coconut..."
-Harry Nilsson

Well, truth be told, put the pineapple in the coconut for this shoot.

Agnies and I met at Indian Rocks Beach on a beautiful sunny afternoon. We had so much fun that we shot for about 4 hours. We ended up with easily 700 images.  Most of my portrait shoots average 1-2 hours. :)

Here are some of my favorite images.

And the pineapple.

So strong

"Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind."
-Christian D. Larson

I met and photographed Tammy on a beautiful sunny day at Indian Rocks Beach. Aside from being gorgeous, Tammy is fun to be around, strong and confident.

This shoot was an audition for a huge and famous cosmetic company. I cannot share most of the images in the event the product and images get used for the ad, but, I can share these.

Needless to say, no matter the outcome, this shoot, day and Tammy, will forever be part of an unforgettable day in my life.

Always be "so strong" and always have fun.

Even rain

"Everything is better at the beach, even rain."

As many of you know by now, I traveled to Florida after my graduation at DINFOS (Defense Information School) as a 25V (Combat Camera) for the United States Army Reserve Component.

I arrived on orders and immediately knew I never wanted to leave. Luckily, I was able to convince my groom to move here with me after his deployment to Afghanistan ended and my orders ended. :)

My first Floridian client, Samantha, is not only beautiful and sweet, but, an amazing sport.

We met at Indian Rocks Beach on a day that ended up being full of rain. We met, waited, chatted, drank coffee, enjoyed the company of one of my amazing neighbors then said, "let's go for it."

We wrapped my canon 5D mark 3 and my new favorite lens in a plastic zipper bag and we had a fun day, that I will always hold fondly in my heart and we went for it, I am glad we did.

Everything is better at the beach, even rain.
